About Lake Charles Tree Service
We started this company with chainsaws in the back of a pickup, cutting our way into Lake Charles neighborhoods in the weeks after Hurricane Laura — when half the parish was under trees, the power grid was down, and "tree service" meant whoever could get there. We got there. We've been here ever since, through Delta, through the debris years, and through every pine beetle cycle and thunderstorm season since. This company exists because Southwest Louisiana needs a tree crew that actually knows Southwest Louisiana trees.
What Laura Taught Us
August 27, 2020 rewrote the playbook for tree work in this parish. We learned — block by block, cut by cut — how longleaf pines snap versus uproot, which oaks split at co-dominant forks and which hold, what storm-damaged timber does when you put a bar in it, and how a community recovers when half its canopy is on the ground at once. Those lessons are baked into everything we do now: the way we sequence a takedown, the way we price emergency work honestly, the way we tell you "that one's fine, spend your money elsewhere" when it's true. There is no textbook for post-Laura Calcasieu Parish. We wrote one with our saws.
What We Believe
- Written quotes, held prices. The estimate is the invoice unless the scope changes and you approve it first.
- Save the tree when it's saveable. Cabling beats removing; removing beats pretending. We carry no incentive to oversell either direction.
- Insurance is non-negotiable. Tree work is among the most dangerous trades in home services. We carry liability and workers' comp and provide proof with every quote. Ask every contractor you compare us against to do the same.
- Pre-season beats post-storm. Every year we tell the whole parish the same thing: get your pines trimmed before June 1. It's cheaper, calmer, and it works.
- No fake reviews, no fake testimonials. You'll notice this site doesn't have a wall of five-star quotes. We're new to the marketing side of this business and we won't manufacture social proof. When real customers want to say kind things, they do it on the platforms where you can verify them.
Who We Are
A working crew — climbers, groundmen, chipper and crane operators, and dispatch — all based in the Lake Charles area. The person who quotes your job has personally felled and rigged trees like yours; we're not a call center selling leads to whoever owns a rope. We live here, our kids go to school here, and we answer the phone when the Gulf spins up. That's the whole business model.
